TUBE FITTINGS GROUP SINGLE FERRULE TUBE FITTINGS - AS PER DIN 2353 TYPE

Single ferrule fittings are designed as per DIN 2353 standards & ISO 8434-1 type. Our single ferrule fittings can be interchangeable with there reputed brand make (as per DIN 2353 type only). Single ferrule fittings are available in light & heavy series for W.P. from - 150 bar up to 700 bar for steel & stainless steel moc.

Single Ferrule Fitting is a three piece design consisting of a body portion, a coupling nut and a ferrule. During the assembly the nut is progressively tightened causing hardened ferrule to slide along the inner conical seat of the body and grip the tube. Tightened the nut, ring deforms due to 24° cone of fittings and bites into the steel tube, producing deep cut on the tube. The cut is visible on the outer diameter of the tube. This cut on the tube acts as metallic interlock and makes the joint leak proof at high pressure and under vibration.

TUBE FITTINGS GROUP FLARE FITTINGS

37° flare fitting design is simple. It uses an easily produced flare at the tube end to seal and hold fluid under high pressure. The fitting consists of three pieces: the body, sleeve and nut. The tube end is flared at a 37° angle (74° include angle) and held between the fitting nose (Seat) and the sleeve (support) with the nut, providing a very effective (single) seal between the fitting nose and the tube flare.

The design of Flared fittings is very efficient. The fitting incorporates the smallest seal area of all fitting types. This seal area, is only slightly larger than the fluid flow area. The Small seal area result in a compact design, low assembly torque, and a relatively high-pressure capability.

The primary difference between a two - piece flare fitting and the three - piece design is the flare support sleeve. The support sleeve provides several key functions:

  1. It provides a clamping surface for the tube flare.
  2. It provides a bearing surface for the tube nut. The sleeve islolates the tube form the nut, minimizing the tube twist during assembly, a common problem of 2-piece flare fitting designs.
  3. It provides support to the tube flare. The tapered fitting nose tends to "Weld open" the tube flare during assembly. The sleeve helps to resist this expansion, thus eliminating the possibility of tube flare and sleeve jamming inside the nut. Thsi eliminates any waste of applied torque and allow for easy disassembly.
  4. It makes the fitting adaptable to metric tube merely by changing its inside diameter.

To manufacture such a wide range of trouble free, leak proof coupling and adopters, the standards like DIN: 2353, DIN 3851, ISO: 8434-1, ISO: 8434-4, IS:8805, BSI 5200, JIC, SAE J 514/ISO 8434-2 etc. are being followed. Couplings are guaranteed interchangeable with products of other manufacturers corresponding to DIN 2353 in India and /or abroad.

MATERIAL USED:
The wided range of couplings and fitting are manufactured in Steel, Stainless Steel 304/316 & Brass. O-ring supplied with the fitting is made of NBR (e. g. Perbunan) having shore hardness of 90° + 5° & Temperature range of -35° u to + 100° C. FPM (e.g. Viton - 25° up to + 200° c) can also be supplied on request.
